Just a quick note to let you know that the Committee finished up it’s assessments a bit early, and we’d like to congratulate you on your successful completion of the Comprehensive Examinations!

I will be sending out a more formal letter in the regular mail later next week.  Pending the completion of all the University requirements you will be recommended for graduation.  Congratulations on your accomplishment!

I haven’t had Dr. K yet, but I’ll be taking one of his classes in the fall.  I already love him, for both sending me the good news, and because he signs his letters with “Cheers” like I always do.  

Here’s to graduating in December! Guess I better get started on applying for jobs.
